Google deemed ‘top brand’
A new survey has been released that should interest the many search engine optimisation and search engine marketing providers out there. This survey has revealed that in the UK, Google has been found to be the most respectable brand.
This sizable search company has just topped the TNS Corporate Reputation Index of 2010. This is basically an assessment of different company’s factors when it comes down to popularity, trustworthiness, favourability and overall quality of service.
The closest other technology brands that were placed highly in this survey include Apple and Sony who were placed third and fourth, Microsoft was also in the top ten of this category.
70% of people who took part in the survey agreed that Google’s service was rated as excellent or very good, which really talks for this multimedia mammoth.
Gemma Hicks, the head of stakeholder management at TNS stated “We are seeing high reputation scores being driven mostly by a strong reaction to company success, proving that people are a lot more rational in their assessment of reputation.”
Google has risen so much as a company in recent years and there is really very little competition in internet marketing terms on the web today. The popularity that the search giant has gained is through hard work and amazing success and would take a great deal of negative changes to drive users and customers away.
This is proof enough that Google is the place to be. Over 80% of the internet population use Google as their means of navigating the World Wide Web so why would anyone want to miss the majority of their internet target market by not appearing on Google?
